Looking for funding and/or support for the development of your work? There are numerous organisations that assist with grants, funding and initiatives. Don’t just apply for the same programs as everyone else does, take the time to do your research and see what’s out there.
A lot of these sites also offer tips on how to put together an effective application. Remember to also think outside the box on grants and funding – don’t just look at arts grants. (Eg. I always recommend checking out your local Council for possible grants. Examine how your project can be applied to and/or benefit other areas in the community.)

Remember to also check relevant theatre companies, as while they are there to create their own productions – they also offer support in various ways for new works. The Malthouse Theatre has the newly formed HELIUM program, and the Melbourne Theatre Company supports artists through a variety of ways.
